OVERVIEW
Join our newly expanded perfusion team at The Valley Hospital, one of the region's leading cardiac surgery programs, supporting approximately 550-600 open-heart cases annually. Our case mix primarily includes CABGs and valve procedures, with occasional ECMO support. With a team of 5 full-time perfusionists - up from 4 - this position offers a genuinely collaborative environment and a lighter on-call load, with just 25% on-call responsibility shared evenly across the team.
Located in Paramus, NJ, this role puts you in the heart of Bergen County: top-ranked public schools, easy access to major highways (Routes 4, 17, and 208, plus the GSP and Route 80), and a short commute to both the New Jersey suburbs and New York City for those who want the city nearby without the city price tag. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and manage heart-lung machines during cardiac surgeries.
- Collaborate with a team of cardiac surgeons on diverse procedures.
- Provide expert perfusion support for CABG, valve procedures, and occasional ECMO cases.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital protocols.
- Participate in on-call rotation (25% share).
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Pay: $180,000.00 - $245,000.00 per year
- Sign-On Bonus: Up to $50,000.00
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000.00

QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) credential required.
- Licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Experience with CABG, valve procedures, and ECMO is preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
