Part-Time Small Engine/ Generator Repair Technician
Flexible Monday–Friday Schedule | Temporary Part-Time Position
We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Part-Time Small Engine Repair Technician.
This position focuses on testing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mobile generators to ensure they are operating safely and properly.
Job Responsibilities
- Test generators for proper operation and electrical output.
- Diagnose starting and running problems.
- Clean or replace carburetors.
- Replace spark plugs, fuel lines, filters, and other common components.
- Perform oil changes and routine maintenance.
- Identify generators that aren't worth repairing.
Qualifications
- Experience with small engine repair, generators, or mechanical equipment required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Schedule & Benefits
- Part-time hours
- Flexible scheduling between 8am and 4:30pm Monday–Friday
- Hands-on work in a practical, relaxed environment.
- Pay based on experience
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
Experience:
- Equipment repair: 1 year (Preferred)
