Role Description
Keystone has part-time floater and substitute teacher positions available for its 2026 Summer Program for students ages 3 months through Kindergarten.
Starting out as a substitute teacher is a great way to learn and grow as a teacher, learn about Montessori philosophy, and work in a professional environment with staff who are committed to early childhood education. A substitute must demonstrate strong classroom management experience and the confidence to direct the classroom in a positive and fun way, representing our school in a professional manner at all times. They must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children
- Understanding of the Montessori philosophy – preferred, but not required
- EEC Certification – preferred, but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty
- Commitment to meeting the needs of each child
- First Aid & CPR certification preferred but not required
Hourly rate range: $16 - $25, depending on certification(s) and experience
Salary : $16 - $25
