What you’ll do
- Set up and operate a variety of machines to defined specifications.
- Continuously monitor performance to maintain throughput and product quality.
- Handle routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished pieces, identifying defects and verifying conformance to standards.
- Keep your work area clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Accurately log production metrics and promptly escalate issues to the supervisor.
- Partner with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- High school diploma or GED; technical/vocational training in machine operation is a plus.
- Hands-on experience as a machine operator or in a closely related role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with solid problem-solving ability.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
- Commitment to safety and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a quality-first mindset.
- Comfort working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
