Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machinist/Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machines, reading blueprints, and performing precision measurements. This role involves setting up and maintaining CNC milling and lathe machines, programming using Fanuc controls, and ensuring high-quality production standards. The Machinist/Operator will contribute to the creation of complex components with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and safety. Duties
- Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, and other machining equipment with precision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and technical drawings to ensure accurate manufacturing. Will train if required.
- Perform setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of CNC equipment including bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines. Will train if required.
- Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. Will train if required.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and tooling to support machining processes. Will train if required.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area; perform routine maintenance on machinery.
- Assist in assembly processes as needed; operate forklifts for material handling when required. Will train if required.
Skills
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour
