What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media & Client Success Associate position at Keystone Innovation District?
Keystone is hiring a Social Media & Client Success Associate to support the Director of Operations across two sides of our work: marketing and content delivery for Keystone Studios clients, and day-to-day client support for Keynect, CoFoundry, the AI Innovation Lab, and other Keystone programs.
This is a hands-on support role, not a strategy role. You’ll be the person who makes things happen once the direction is set — scheduling the posts, sending the emails, ordering the food, following up with clients, and keeping the details tight. If you’re organized, curious, and good with people, this role offers a close-up view of how a growing innovation hub and client services studio actually operate.
Reports To: Director of Operations
What You’ll Do
Social Media & Content Support
- Develop content ideas for Keystone Studios clients based on brand guidelines and campaign direction
- Schedule and publish social media posts across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and X
- Occasionally film short-form video and capture photos at Keystone events or client shoots
- Monitor engagement, flag comments or DMs that need a response, and pull basic performance metrics
- Assist with light graphic edits, caption drafting, and content organization
- Edit Wix website content and fill out templated pages based on provided copy and assets
Client Success & Communications
- Serve as a friendly first point of contact for Keystone Studios marketing clients and MVP product development clients
- Support Keynect users and participants across Keystone programs with scheduling, onboarding questions, and follow-ups
- Draft and send client-facing emails based on templates or direction from the Director of Operations
- Keep client notes, status updates, and touchpoints organized and up to date
Event & Operations Coordination
- Handle logistics for Keystone events and meetings — food orders, RSVPs, venue confirmations, supply pickups
- Coordinate through email with vendors, partners, and attendees as directed
- Help prep materials, check-in lists, and on-site needs for programming like Keystone Sessions, OnRamp, and Angels events
- Pitch in on other Keystone operational tasks as they come up
What We’re Looking For
Soft Skills (Most Important)
- Detail orientation — you catch typos, remember the dietary restriction, and notice when a link is broken
- Strong written and verbal communication — you can write a warm, clear client email without hand-holding
- Ability to learn quickly — new tools, new platforms, new client voices don’t rattle you
- Strong interpersonal skills — clients, partners, and vendors enjoy working with you
Experience & Skills
- Working familiarity with major social media platforms and scheduling tools
- Comfortable creating basic photo and video content on a phone or camera
- Experience editing website content in Wix (or a comparable platform like Squarespace)
- Familiarity with Claude and other AI marketing tools — or genuine curiosity and willingness to learn them quickly
- Able to juggle multiple clients and projects without losing track of the details
- Professional, reliable email communication style
- Based in the United States; Kansas City Metro strongly preferred for event support
