We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window Door Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows and doors across various residential and commercial projects. Duties
- Measure and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine installation requirements
- Install windows and doors using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques with precision and care
- Perform glass installation, ensuring proper sealing, caulking, and weatherproofing for durability
- Conduct metal stud framing, trim carpentry, and frame carpentry as needed for secure installations
- Handle heavy lifting safely to transport and position large window units or door assemblies on-site
- Read schematics and mechanical diagrams to troubleshoot installation issues effectively
- Apply locksmithing knowledge for lockset installation, adjustments, or repairs
- Execute fixture installation including hardware, locks, handles, and other accessories
- Maintain safety protocols on construction sites, including proper use of hand tools and personal protective equipment
Skills
- Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) efficiently
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique
- Knowledge of door hanging procedures including alignment, securing hinges, and hardware fitting
- Construction site experience with a focus on framing, remodeling, or fixture installation
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Mechanical knowledge related to window/door mechanisms and hardware components
- Fabrication skills for customizing window or door units as needed for specific projects
- Carpentry expertise in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing and cabinetry work
