Intellectual Disability - Advanced Direct Support Professional

Keystone Human Services is currently seeking Advanced Direct Support Professionals to join our team of professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community.

The Advanced Direct Support Professional teaches, coaches, and supports individuals with intellectual disabilities. This position acts as a role model to support and assist individuals to have “everyday lives”. This includes opportunities to meet new people, develop friendships, find and maintain employment, exercise choice, maintain activities of daily living, and accomplish personal goals.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of work experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviors or dual diagnosis of intellectual disability and mental health
• ODP recognized DSP certification or ability to be enrolled, pursue, and obtain a certification upon hire
• Effective communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills, ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and learn web-based systems
• Valid driver’s license and access to properly insured vehicle
• Successful completion of pre-employment process, including Criminal History, MVR, Child Abuse and FBI clearances
