CNC Water Jet Operator /Breton

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery, including CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, and CNC lathes. The CNC Operator will be responsible for producing precision parts and components according to specifications while ensuring quality and efficiency in the manufacturing process.

Duties

• Operate and monitor CNC machines, including laser cutters, milling machines, and lathes, to produce high-quality components.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
• Set up and adjust machine tools according to specifications, including tooling and fixtures.
• Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure adherence to tolerances.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline production processes and improve efficiency.
• Utilize hand tools and fabrication techniques for assembly and finishing tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with various machining processes such as welding, stamping press operations, electrical discharge machining, plasma cutting, and fabrication.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Proficient in CNC programming with a solid understanding of tooling setups.
• Experience operating forklifts and cranes is a plus.
