Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a wide range of procedures including restorative, crown & bridge, extractions, and implant dentistry
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials according to OSHA and infection-control protocols
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral photographs
- Assist with impressions, scanning, temporaries, and chairside procedures
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and assist with documentation
- Sterilize and organize instruments and operatories
- Support overall office flow and teamwork
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant certification preferred (or equivalent experience)
- X-ray certification required
- Prior dental assisting experience strongly preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)
- Knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and excellent infection-control practices
- Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
