Role Description
This full-time, on-site role is based in Charlotte, NC. Candidate will travel to all active construction job sites within NC and SC. It involves overseeing and managing land development projects for Keystone Custom Homes. The Land Development Site Specialist will coordinate with various stakeholders, manage project timelines and budgets, conduct site research, and ensure the successful execution of land development activities. Tasks include maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. This is mainly an onsite role: visiting, coordinating, documenting all construction activity in all our communities, with some office related work. Position reports to the Director of Land Entitlement and Development. Growth opportunity is inherent in this role.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to collaborate with team members, vendors, contractors, regulators, and clients effectively
- Ability to read and understand construction docuemtns, site plans, and specifications
- Experience in conducting Research and analyzing data to support decision-making processes in land development
- Proven expertise in Project Management, including scheduling, budgeting, and overseeing deliverables
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Candidate will be required to obtain a drone FAA license and fly drones
- Familiarity with and ability to learn zoning laws, permitting processes, and local government regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
