About the job
Keystone looking for a motivated Surveyor in Training (SIT) / Survey Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with prior experience as a Party Chief and CAD Experience who has passed, or is preparing to take, the SIT exam and is ready to step into the professional track toward becoming a licensed surveyor.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare deed plots, property mosaics, and as-built drawings
- Analyze property corners and develop boundary solutions
- Review and coordinate work with Survey Tech 3s and 4s
- Serve as a liaison between office staff, crews, and clients
- Meet inspectors and client representatives as needed
- Assist with proposals, deliverables, and courthouse research
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency with surveying math, methods, and software
- Ability to read and interpret deeds, maps, and plats
- Solid understanding of surveying practices and standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
