Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self motivated individual with handyman/exterior trade experience who can perform exterior QC inspections, take photos & upload them to our CRM, complete a QC form and make minor adjustments or repairs on-site. This is a flat rate per job assignment. Weekly pay per completed assignments!
We intend to hire this individual on a full time basis at the start of Q2 2027.
OVERVIEW:
Responsibilities/Tasks
- Walk around home/property to REVIEW completed trade and ensure installation was done properly and there are no issues or errors present. (TAKE PHOTOS and notes & UPLOAD to CRM)
- CORRECT any any minor issues. Fix or find solution for any loose, crooked, imperfections etc.
- CLEAN UP jobsite of ANY leftover material, garbage, roll for nails/shards, etc. (This should have been done by install crew but we do this step at every job site to be certain to leave the customer's home/property clean & safe!
- RETURN any small amount of material leftover to main office or to Home Depot. If a pallet full of material is leftover, take photo and email it to our supplier for them to pick up from jobsite.
- COMPLETE QC Inspection Form and have homeowner/customer sign sheet. Leave them with a copy and RETURN the bottom copy to the office.
Skills
- Knowledge of trades/installation, being able to verify proper installation and any errors in installation of roofing materials, gutters, siding, etc.
- Ability and skill to perform handyman style tasks such as fixing pieces of metal, shingles, nails, etc.
- Ability to safely use a ladder without injury or damaging property.
- Valid Drivers license.
We do have a company truck that you may be able to utilize for your work day if you have a valid drivers license and are approved to be added to our insurance COI. You would leave from our office in Oswego in the work vehicle and drop it off at the end of your work day. OR utilize your own vehicle. We can provide the tools and ladder(s) you would need to perform this job if you do not have tools and ladders of your own.
You must have a working smartphone in order to take photos and upload them to the CRM, communicate with office staff and utilize Google Calendar.
This job is a contract position/1099 with the intention of turning into a Full Time W2 position with benefits in Q2 of 2027.
Pay is $100-150 per completed inspection. You will be assigned 3-4 Inspections per day and required to check in with our Production Manager once you arrive and finish at a jobsite.
