This position will be working with multiple Supervisors, Operations Managers, and Directors with varying degrees of demands in a fast-paced environment and carries a high level of responsibility with limited supervision.

Education/Qualifications

 

Essential:

1.        High school education or equivalent trade school and/or training.

2.        Valid PA Driver’s License.

3.        Minimum 2 years’ experience with managing and operating tools, equipment and storage.

4.        Satisfactory driving record for the last 3 years (determined by Company driving standards).

5.        Mechanical aptitude

 

 

 

Requirements/Skills

 

Essential:

1.        Ability to operate yard equipment as required, loader and forklift experience preferred.

2.        Excellent customer service attitude and skills.

3.        Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.

4.        Professional phone manner.

5.        Proficiency with computers.

6.        Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

7.        Ability to respond and support emergency requirements for parts and equipment.

8.        Strong attention to detail.

9.        Mechanical skills sufficient to provide basic equipment maintenance and repair duty.

10.     Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

 

 

 

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Procurement:

  • Coordinate acquisition of supplies and materials from vendors, tracking and managing the process from order to delivery.
  • Coordinate acquisition of rental equipment from vendors, calling equipment on rent and calling equipment off rent.
  • Coordinate scheduling, deployment, use, down-time, mobilization, and demobilization of Rental Equipment and owned assets.
  • Complete purchase orders as required for all purchased items. Ensure all prices are recorded on purchase order when the purchase order is written. 
  • Responsible for reviewing documentation daily and checking for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain relationships with current Vendors and ensures pricing is consistent.
  • Look for Vendors in new areas and facilitates the paperwork/process needed to set them up as a Vendor.

 

Yard:

  • Monitor stocking levels and order inventory as required based on usage of equipment and parts.
  • Schedule personnel and prioritizing repairs to help reduce company operational costs and down time.
  • Coordinate and schedules use of trucks, trailers with operations personnel.
  • Maintain rental and owned asset inventory, location, and project usage records to support billing and accounting functions for equipment.
  • Organize systematically and with computerized aids to track, manage, and assign resources.
  • Oversee maintenance on equipment/vehicles related to the yard, and is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the yard, parking areas and/or buildings.
  • Maintain the schedule and delivery of all Keystone owned and/or rented equipment, tools and supplies to Keystone Clearwater job sites.
  • Maintain an orderly yard with equipment stored in proper locations for easy access, and reasonably protected from the elements, as may be appropriate.
  • Assist with worker problems or collaborate with employees to assist in problem resolution.

 

Assisting Mechanics:

  • Ensure all equipment and tools are inspected for damages; and repair or have them repaired as required. Tag equipment that is broken or worn as “out-of-service” while repairs are in process or scheduled.
  • Ensure that routine maintenance on all equipment including generators, compressors, skid loaders, pumps, etc. is being performed.
  • Perform weekly and monthly inventory reports and analysis of usage.
  • Provide and ensure that a maintenance plan for all tools and equipment is in effect and enforced.
  • Support the asset tracking system of the Company, such as GPS tracking devices as may be mounted on the assets stored in the Yard.
  • Schedules warranty work and routine maintenance and inspections for company assets, as needed.

 

 

Logistics:

  • Responsible for scheduling, dispatch, and logistics coordination of all transportation, both internal and 3rd party, for the Company’s Operations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with 3rd party transportation companies to meet company’s transportation needs.
  • Review activities of operators / drivers daily to ensure customer quality, paperwork accuracy and regulatory compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA and state laws.
  • Coordinate scheduling, deployment, working hours, overtime, per diem and off-periods for all company drivers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

May manage subordinate employees or contractors.  Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

This position requires long periods of time driving and operating equipment, lifting and pulling in excess of 50 pounds.
