What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech-Language Pathologist position at Keystone Behavior Services?
KBS Academy, Pathways, and Bridge are private school settings that are looking for a SLP!
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings as needed
- Develop and implement individualized therapy goals
- Collaborate with teachers, behavior consultants, related service providers, and families
- Support students with functional communication, social communication, receptive/expressive language, articulation, and pragmatic language needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to present levels, goals, progress updates, and recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, and progress monitoring data
- Support communication programming across the school setting
- Provide consultation and strategies to classroom teams to promote carryover of skills
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Pennsylvania SLP license or eligibility
- Experience working with students with autism, emotional support needs, AAC, and/or complex communication needs preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- A compassionate, student-centered approach
- Ability to work as part of a supportive team environment
