About the Position
Keystone Area Education Agency is seeking a Technology Support Specialist to serve the Oelwein Community School District. This position plays a vital role in supporting and maintaining technology systems that enhance teaching, learning, and operations within the district.
The successful candidate will assess and support technology needs, providing first-line technical assistance for hardware, software, networking, and related systems. This includes troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of computer and network equipment, as well as assisting school personnel with technology use and integration.
Key Responsibilities
-Install, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, networks, and peripheral equipment.
-Deliver on-site technical support services to assigned school(s), with minimal opportunities for remote work.
-Collaborate with school technology staff and committees to identify and address technology needs.
-Assist in training school personnel on the effective use of technology resources.
-Maintain accurate and timely records of service and support provided.
-Implement and uphold technology security procedures.
-Support agency-wide technology initiatives and goals.
