Our client in the Burnsville area is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, this role is contract to hire.
Pay rate: $28-$36/HR
- Creates and maintains the machine programs using Gerbers or CAD in CAM software or directly on the machine.
- Generate kit lists to aid in offline setup
- Provide DFM feedback on programs for the customer
- Create packages in the CAM Library.
- Determine and understand optimal methods of placing parts
- Creates detailed process information on the set up, machines, settings and materials used providing specific operations.
- Design and order stencils and tooling.
- Design stencils in accordance with industry “best practices”
- Order stencils and production tooling in a timely manner to support production.
Requirements:
- Associates degree in a technical discipline is preferred
- Two or more years’ experience in SMT environment.
- Working knowledge and experience programming electronic assembly equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Salary : $28 - $36
