Salary: $150K Starting Base
We are seeking a Environmental Compliance Manager to lead environmental programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across multiple operational sites. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to leadership and the opportunity to influence environmental strategy across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead environmental compliance initiatives across multiple operational sites
- Ensure adherence to environmental regulations, permits, and internal policies
- Oversee reporting, documentation, and communication with regulatory agencies
- Conduct audits, inspections, and internal compliance reviews
- Drive environmental programs and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify, assess, and mitigate environmental risks
- Support projects to ensure environmental considerations are integrated from planning through execution
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Deliver training and promote environmental awareness across teams
- Stay current on regulatory changes and assess business impact
Leadership & Scope
- Direct oversight of 1 team member with broader cross-functional collaboration
- Partner closely with leadership and operational teams
- Support environmental budgets and strategic initiatives
- Report directly to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 7–10 years of environmental compliance or management experience
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting, and reporting
- Experience working with regulatory agencies and managing audits
- Experience supporting projects from an environmental standpoint
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Work Environment
- Combination of office and field-based environments
- Exposure to varying site conditions
- Ability to travel as needed and work flexible hours when required
