We are partnering with a well-established and growing construction organization in the Fargo area seeking a driven, detail-oriented Estimator / Project Management professional to join their team full-time onsite. This role is ideal for candidates with experience estimating commercial construction projects including schools, airports, government buildings, churches, retail spaces, industrial facilities, and other large-scale developments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare detailed construction estimates for commercial, civil, and industrial projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, equipment, and material costs
- Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Research upcoming bids and prospective projects
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
- Assist with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cost projections
- Develop and maintain CPM schedules using Primavera P6
- Collaborate closely with operations, field teams, vendors, and leadership
- Attend pre-bid, preconstruction, and project meetings
- Help improve estimating and project management processes
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of commercial construction estimating and/or project management experience
- Experience working on projects ranging from $5M–$10M
- Background in commercial, industrial, or civil construction preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Experience with Primavera P6 required
- Experience with Sage Estimating, Bluebeam, or related software is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Stable work history and strong professional references preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
