Flexible, commission-based role for students enrolled in a real estate program

I’m a Chicago real estate agent looking for a motivated real estate student to assist with apartment tours under a Student Leasing Permit.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in leasing while earning commission and building confidence with clients.

Responsibilities

• Meet renters at apartment showings
• Conduct friendly, professional walkthroughs
• Answer basic questions (training provided)
• Send quick feedback after each tour

I handle negotiations, applications, and paperwork.

You’ll also have the opportunity to learn how to close deals independently with coaching and guidance throughout the process.

Compensation

• Commission on leases you help facilitate
• $25 per showing for your first 4 showings each month (to help cover brokerage fees)

This allows you to earn while building experience.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a real estate course/program (required for Student Leasing Permit)
• Reliable and punctual
• Professional communication skills
• Able to travel within Chicago
• Some weekday daytime availability preferred

Students pursuing either a leasing permit or broker license are welcome to apply.
