What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Music Teacher position at Keys to Life Music School?
Keys to Life Music School is looking for private music instructors who can play any of the following:
-Piano
-Piano & Voice
-Drums
-Violin (and also ideally beginning piano)
Ideal candidates:
- have at least basic knowledge of the instruments
- have at least some formal training and a good amount of experience in music
- have reliable transportation
- love working with kids ages 5
- are available to teach at least one day/week, generally between the hours of 3:00pm-7:30pm
We don't require that you have a degree in music but you need relevant experience on the instrument, knowledge of basic theory and reading, a passion for teaching, and professionalism.

Seeds of Harmony gives our youngest students the opportunity to explore multiple instruments and develop music literacy in a fun, social environment. Instructors are helped with curriculum, onboarding, and provided with instruments and course materials.
Scheduling for round one phone interviews with qualified candidates will begin the week of 4/6. Please have 3 references ready to send to us (their email addresses will suffice).
