A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR ROLE:
As the Dental Office Administrator, you'll lead the administrative team with confidence - coaching, correcting, and motivating. You'll manage patient flow, refine scheduling, and reinforce systems that keep our practice operating smoothly and profitably.
You'll drive:
- KPI improvements across production, collections, AR, and reappointment rates
- Patient communication, recall, and marketing
- Online scheduling/forms
- Implementation of front office, billing, and patient experience SOPs
- Procurement, supply management, and P&L reviews with management
- Compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and practice policies
And when a situation gets tough, you'll be the calm and professional escalation point - whether it's a staff concern or a complex patient financial discussion.
Your home office is Marathon, with occasional travel to support our Key West affiliate.
OUR IDEAL DENTAL OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR HAS:
- 3 years of dental office management experience
- Proven success as a Dental Office Manager or team leader in a growth-oriented practice
- Advanced knowledge of insurance, billing, AR, and collections strategy
- Highly skilled in Dentrix and comfortable leveraging technology for growth
- Tech-forward mindset with hands-on experience in Microsoft 365
- Understands how to read numbers and uses data to drive behavior
- Ability to build systems, train teams, and enforce accountability
- Ability to lead difficult conversations with staff and patients professionally and calmly
- Strong leadership presence with excellent communication skills
- Confident in leading teams and making decisions independently
- Takes ownership, follows through, and raises the standard of the practice
