Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fine dining setting or lively nightclub atmosphere. Prior experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred, along with a strong background in food handling and sanitation. The Server will play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences through attentive service and effective upselling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Manage guest inquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
• Process payments accurately through POS systems and handle cash or credit transactions responsibly
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings to assist guests effectively

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred
• Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and revenue generation
