We’re known for our tech-first approach, Rust-based trading systems, and for actively shaping the future of digital asset markets.The OpportunityKeyrock is scaling its global options desk and we’re looking to hire a Junior Options Trader based in the Americas (remote-working possibility) with 2-5 years of experience in derivatives trading. You’ll support and progressively take ownership of a meaningful options book across crypto derivatives markets with a focus on Americas trading hours.In this role, you’ll work closely with senior options traders, quant developers and engineers, contributing to strategy execution, risk management, and continuous improvement of our trading processes. You’ll leverage our cutting-edge Rust-based infrastructure and trade across 80 venues with deep liquidity access. If you have a solid foundation in options or systematic trading and want to take the next step toward running your own book in the rapidly evolving crypto space, we’d like to hear from you.As a Junior Options Trader (Americas) you will:Support the management and optimization of risk across options books, with growing responsibility for positions at the desks you support.Analyze market and historical data to refine strategies, execution quality and risk frameworks.Collaborate with developers and the commercial team to improve trading tools, automation and overall desk efficiency.Contribute to documentation, post-trade analysis and process enhancements to help scale the desk globally.Knowledge Skills & Experience2-5 years of experience in derivatives, options, or systematic trading/research, ideally at a market-making, prop trading or systematic trading firm.Existing exposure to options trading and volatility (equities, FX, rates, or crypto), or a strong systematic trading background with clear motivation to specialise in options.Solid grasp of derivatives basics: greeks, implied volatility, payoff structures, and risk concepts; experience with options books or structured products is a plus.Ability to support the research, testing, and implementation of option trading models and strategies.Proficiency in Python for data analysis and prototyping (C /Java/Rust a plus).Hands-on experience in TradeFi, DeFi, and/or crypto trading is strongly preferred, or a strong demonstrable interest in digital assets.Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, curious and comfortable operating in a fast-moving trading environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with global teams from diverse backgrounds; fluency in English a must.Ability and willingness to provide core coverage for Americas time zones.What we offerCompetitive comp with significant upsideHigh autonomy and ownership in shaping strategiesRemote-first with flexibility, but with core coverage expected for your trading regionGlobal, flexible, and collaborative environmentAs an employer we are committed to building a positive and collaborative work environment.
