Responsibilities

• Perform electrical diagnostics on vehicle locking systems, electronic security devices, and related components to identify faults accurately.
• Utilize schematics and technical drawings to interpret complex lock mechanisms and security system layouts.
• Conduct mechanical repairs and adjustments on vehicle locks, ignition systems, and heavy equipment locking mechanisms.
• Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical circuits and ensure system integrity.
• Install, maintain, and repair a variety of automotive security devices including keyless entry systems, transponder keys, and alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot issues related to maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) of automotive locks and electronic components.
• Collaborate with clients or team members to explain technical issues clearly and recommend effective solutions promptly.

Experience

• Proven experience in electrical diagnostics within automotive or heavy equipment mechanics environments.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of lock mechanisms, ignition systems, and electronic security devices.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical schematics and drawings for complex mechanical or electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience working with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procedures in automotive settings.
• Ability to operate testing tools such as ohmmeters effectively for electrical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment mechanics is a plus for working on larger machinery or specialized vehicles.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency with a keen eye for detail to ensure precise repairs and installations.

Pay: $24.80 - $29.87 per hour
