Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Onsite / Hybrid NJ first preference, else Charlotte, St. Louis and Minneapolis
Required Qualifications:
• 10 years of Software Engineering experience.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• 5 years' experience with object-oriented programming (Java/Scala)
• 3 years’ experience in developing and deploying applications to public/private cloud
• 2 years’ experience with python programming
• 2 years' experience with database programming (SQL)
• 2 years developing and testing RESTful webservices using sprint boot or similar frameworks
• 2 years of experience in big data processing like spark, Hadoop, hive
• Experience with DevOps tools like Harness, Jenkins, Terraform
Desired Qualifications:
• Associate Architect/Professional Cloud Certification in Google Cloud Platform/Azure or AWS
• Knowledge of Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools.
• Experience with ETL tools and process
• Knowledge of event-based architecture
• Understanding of Domain Driven Design principles
• Experience with reverse engineering projects.
• Experience remediating security findings/vulnerabilities
