Position Summary: Seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to grow and support customer relationships across North America. This representative will aid in identifying new opportunities, managing technical evaluations in conjunction with the R&D team, supporting customer trials/development, expanding market presence, and drive the adoption of UV-curable powder coatings.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Contribute to and execute a national sales strategy focused on driving adoption of UV-curable powder coatings.
· Identify new accounts, qualify opportunities, and manage the full sales cycle from initial qualification to closing.
· Conduct customer visits, presentations, and technical demonstrations (including hands-on trials when appropriate).
· Develop a strong understanding of UV-cured powder technology and have the ability to translate the benefits of the technology to customers relating directly to their applications.
· Work very closely with and develop a good working relationship with Operations, R&D, and Engineering teams.
· Support the onboarding, training, and post-sale technical engagement.
· Work towards meeting or exceeding sales/growth objectives.
· Maintain existing customer relationships.
· Regularly use and maintain accurate CRM records using CRM software.
· Develop and maintain sales budgets.
· Occasional representation at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
· Regular travel includes domestic and possible occasional international travel (roughly 25-50%).
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in direct sales (other considerations made based on experience).
· Proven track record in technical sales, business development, and customer-facing roles.
· Previous experience with CRMs (HubSpot preferred).
· Previous coating/chemical sales considered a plus.
· Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
· Ambitious and driven to succeed.
· Ability to efficiently and fluently communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel.

Evaluation: 90-day evaluation focused on onboarding progress, technical development, and role alignment.
