Construction Project Manager

Location: Mountain View, CA (projects across the Bay Area)

Make iconic Bay Area homes shine

If mid-century modern architecture makes your heart skip a beat, you'll love our work. Keycon specializes in high-touch remodels, think post-and-beam, clean lines, and precision details where "simple" actually means "meticulous." We're looking for a Construction Project Manager who thrives in the field, leads with calm confidence, and delivers beautiful, buildable solutions for our clients.

Keycon Construction & Design is a Bay Area design-build firm focused on premium residential renovations and additions. Our team is collaborative and quality-obsessed, and our clients trust us for craftsmanship, transparency, and excellent communication from concept through closeout.

You'll own projects from pre-con through punch: coordinating subs and in-house crews, walking jobs, meeting clients, and keeping schedules, budgets, and quality on track. You're comfortable on site in the morning, laying out work, and just as comfortable in the afternoon reviewing updates, approvals, and change orders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day field operations across multiple active residential projects.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors and in-house crews; verify layout and workmanship.
  • Run client meetings and site walks; provide clear updates on scope, schedule, and next steps.
  • Manage budgets, buy-outs, change orders, RFIs, and documentation; keep everything current in our project platform.
  • Conduct quality/safety checks; resolve issues proactively and maintain clean, compliant sites.
  • Review plans and details for constructability, especially in post-and-beam / mid-century modern construction.
  • Close projects with thorough punch lists, inspections, and turnover documentation.

Qualifications

  • 4 or more years of residential construction project management (design-build or high-end remodels preferred).
  • Field-first leadership style; proven success running multiple projects.
  • Working knowledge of building assemblies typical to mid-century modern/post-and-beam homes (or a fast-learning mindset to get there).
  • Tech-savvy with construction/project management software; able to learn new tools quickly.
  • Clear, professional communication with clients, subs, and crews; punctual and reliable.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for Bay Area site travel.
  • Spanish bilingual preferred (many of our field crews are Spanish-speaking).

Pay & Employment Details

  • Employment type: Full-time.
  • Salary range: $90,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • We offer a competitive benefits package, which includes health insurance, paid time off, and other perks (details provided during the interview process)
  • This role requires regular travel to job sites across the Bay Area (mileage reimbursed)
