Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Tandem Developer with strong expertise in HP NonStop (Tandem) systems and ATM applications development/support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining ATM transaction applications, along with a deep understanding of financial services systems, payment processing, and transaction switching.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years of experience in Tandem NonStop development (TACL, TAL, COBOL, SCOBOL, C, or C ).
- Strong experience with ATM/POS transaction processing systems (e.g., Base24, Connex, FIS, NCR).
- Good knowledge of Enscribe, SQL/MP, Pathway, Guardian, OSS.
- Familiarity with ISO8583 messaging formats and transaction switching.
- Experience with debugging and performance tuning in Tandem environment.
- Strong understanding of financial transaction processing, EFT, and settlement.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Base24 classic/Base24-eps environment.
- Exposure to payments domain, card networks (Visa/MasterCard), and regulatory compliance.
- Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of scripting, automation, and DevOps for Tandem systems.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
