Foreman/Supervisor

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Foremen/Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the metal fabrication industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, with expertise in overseeing projects from inception to completion. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a thorough understanding of the fabrication processes and safety regulations.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations with shop personnel, to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Supervise and coordinate with hands on leadership during installations of fabricated equipment at customer facilities.
• Oversee budgeting and contract management, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to enforce OSHA regulations and maintain safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate fabrication estimates and schedules.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure understanding of project requirements.
• Implement quality control measures throughout the process to meet client expectations.
• Train and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative work environment while promoting professional development.

Requirements

• Proven experience in metal fabrication management with a focus on supervising teams.
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes, including budgeting, estimating, and quality control.
• Proficient in TIG welding as well as advanced knowledge in MIG and STICK welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Experience working with stainless steel, mild steel and aluminum.
• Advance mechanical background with powerful problem solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
