About the Opportunity
Key Staffing is partnering with a well-established agricultural packing and distribution company in the Fowler area that specializes in the processing, packing, and shipping of fresh produce. This organization plays a vital role in delivering high-quality products to domestic and international markets and is known for maintaining a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to support warehouse and production operations.
Position Overview
The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating equipment to move, load, and organize product throughout the facility. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety in a high-volume production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move product and materials
- Load and unload trucks in a timely and accurate manner
- Transport pallets of product to and from production and storage areas
- Perform inventory movements and assist with stock organization
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any maintenance needs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience required (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
- Experience in a warehouse, production, or agricultural environment is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with changing priorities
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
