Responsibilities

Under the direction of the VP, Regional Supervisor, and/or Program Coordinator, the Scheduler will monitor and schedule expected patient treatment minutes in Key Rehab’s clinical software, accoding to patient needs, Medicare guidelines, state practice requirements and therapists’ expected efficiency. Scheduling should include monitoring distance traveled by therapist and make sure it is fiscally responsible.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior healthcare experience preferred.
• Ethical Compliance: Adherence to Key Rehab’s Code of Ethical Conduct, as well as state and federal regulations.

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to efficiently manage tasks and address challenges with effective solutions.
• Flexibility and Team Collaboration: Adaptable to changing situations and committed to working seamlessly within a team environment.
• Exceptional Communication: Outstanding oral and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Experience with Geriatric Population: Prior experience working with elderly patients, demonstrating an understanding of their unique needs.
• Knowledge of Medicare Billing Regulations: Familiarity with current Medicare billing practices and guidelines.
