Among the programs and services, we provide are Outpatient Mental Health Centers, Adult and Child Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs, School-Based Therapy, Community Outreach, and Residential Services.
Who We Need:
We are currently looking for a Residential Counselor to join our County Residential team.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Staff are responsible for the comprehensive services offered through on-site and off-site programs. This includes assessment, case management, psycho education, crisis intervention, advocacy, and community liaison.
- Staff are also responsible for the timely and accurate completion of all documentation such as treatment plans and progress notes.
- Responsible for medication monitoring and education to support self-dosing of medication.
- Responsible for teaching community skills including ADLs as needed.
- Must drive 15 passenger vans to transport clients.
What You Need:
- BA Degree in a mental health field or equivalent experience (One year to one year exchange)
- Experience in psychiatric rehab, mental health, human services, and/or customer service field is preferred.
- Valid and active Maryland driver's license (or state of residence)(must be active for at least 3 years)
- Pass a criminal background check, MVA check, and pre-employment drug screening.
- Must have own vehicle.
- Someone who has a passion for working with individuals with a mental illness or a willingness to learn.
