Position: People Operations Specialist
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm (hybrid after 90 day training period)
Pay: $50,000-$58,000/yr
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused People Operations Specialist who will play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle. This position combines strategic people operations initiatives with hands-on HR administrative support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and passionate about creating a positive employee experience while ensuring efficient HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
· Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS systems
· Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and coordination
· Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
· Prepare HR-related documents such as offer letters, employment verifications, and 30 day onboarding surveys.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Recruitment & Talent Support
· Job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling
· Coordinate communication with candidates and hiring managers
· Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment records
· Responsible for maintaining all job boards and working with all outside recruiters and agencies.
· Attend job fairs and recruiting events and actively work to promote our open positions to colleges and other agencies in the community.
· Conduct employee orientation on a rotating basis and issue employee badges and replacements.
General Support
· Provide administrative support to the HR/People team
· Assist in organizing company events, trainings, and engagement activities
· Continuously look for ways to improve HR processes and efficiencies

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
· 1–3 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or administrative support roles
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Familiarity with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
· Basic understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
· Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

SUPERVISION AND COORDINATION OF SERVICES
The People Operations Specialist reports directly to the Human Resources Director. The People Operations Specialist coordinates with other professionals within the agency (i.e. Directors, Managers, Human Resources Committee) as well as outside agencies to create a team approach to the assessment and delivery of employee needs and requirements for agency operations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The People Operations Specialist works in an office setting. They are not expected to be exposed to unusual levels of heat, cold, light, or noise. The position may require repetitive use of computer, keyboard, and mouse.
TRAVEL
The People Operations Specialist is not expected to be required to travel. They may drive between sites and to vendor events.

DESIRABLE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• The Human Resources Hiring Coordinator should have a combination of experience and education related to the population with whom Key Point serves and additionally basic HR functions.
• The employee should have knowledge of organizational structures and relevant job duties common within the organization.
• The employee demonstrates the ability to express themselves well through writing, interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• They will demonstrate an understanding and sensitivity to serving culturally diverse and/or special needs population while maintaining patient confidentially.
• Must be proficient in excel and general database programs.
Education and Experience:
• High School diploma 2 years’ experience in an HR role
• Undergraduate degree
• Experience in hiring
