Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and power tools safely to move materials and components throughout the factory floor.
- Use measuring instruments and interpret technical drawings to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Assist with mechanical assembly and manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, on the production line.
- Follow manufacturing processes and production documents accurately to maintain quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to uphold safety protocols and standards in production.
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions.
- Manage assembly line activities, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety standards.
Experience
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly is essential.
- Familiarity with forklift operation, safety protocol adherence, and heavy lifting techniques.
- Knowledge of manufacturing management practices, lean manufacturing principles, and process improvement methods.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and use measuring instruments accurately.
- Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively on assembly lines or managing production teams in a fast-paced setting.
