About the Role
Key Management Services is seeking a seasoned Cementing Supervisor to oversee multiple cementing units operating across the mid-continent region and beyond. Operations are based out of the Tulsa, Oklahoma area, but candidates from any location are welcome to apply.
The Cementing Supervisor is responsible for directing and managing cementing crews across multiple rigs, coordinating with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC), managing supply and inventory, and ensuring all paperwork and reporting requirements are met. This role requires deep cementing operations knowledge, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage people and logistics across multiple locations simultaneously.
This position requires significant travel, including extended assignments lasting several weeks or more in states across the region. Weekend work is required as dictated by operational needs. Company-provided housing and per diem are furnished during all travel assignments.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $85,000–$90,000/year
- Pay Schedule: Semi-monthly on the 1st and 15th
- Bonus Structure: Eligible for performance-based bonuses tied to company performance and project milestones
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000/year

- Per diem for meals on days worked during travel (Monday–Friday)

Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee and direct multiple cementing crews (Operators and Hands) across concurrent job sites
- Plan and schedule cementing operations in coordination with operators and client representatives
- Ensure all cementing jobs are executed safely, on time, and to specification
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to Cementing Unit Operators in the field
- Monitor job performance and implement improvements to operational efficiency
Regulatory & Compliance
- Coordinate with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) on permitting, reporting, and compliance matters
- Ensure all operations meet regulatory requirements at the state and local level
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OCC regulations and industry standards applicable to cementing operations
- Prepare and submit required regulatory documentation and reports
Administration & Reporting
- Review and submit field tickets, job reports, and operational paperwork
- Manage supply chain and inventory for cementing materials, chemicals, and equipment parts
- Coordinate procurement of cement, additives, and consumables to ensure crews are fully supplied
- Track and report on operational metrics, job costs, and crew utilization
Personnel Management
- Manage, mentor, and evaluate Cementing Unit Operators and Hands
- Coordinate crew schedules, travel assignments, and time-off requests
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training and development needs
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and professionalism across all crews
Safety & Quality
- Enforce company safety policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements across all job sites
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and equipment failures and implement corrective actions
- Conduct periodic field visits to observe operations and ensure quality and safety standards
- Ensure all crews maintain current certifications and safety training
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in cementing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Deep knowledge of cementing operations, including primary, remedial, squeeze, and plug-and-abandon cementing
- Experience coordinating with the OCC or equivalent state regulatory bodies
- Strong organizational and logistics skills with the ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously
- Proven leadership ability with experience managing field crews
- Proficiency with operational paperwork, job costing, and reporting
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current H2S and SafeLand certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred
- Experience managing supply chain and inventory for oilfield operations
- Familiarity with mid-continent operations (Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas Panhandle)
- Well control certification (WellCAP or IADC)
- CDL (Class A or B)
- Proficiency with field management software and digital reporting tools
- Experience scaling operations and onboarding new crews
Work Environment
- Outdoor field work around active oil & gas equipment
- Exposure to weather, uneven terrain, and physical tasks
- Extended workdays and weekend work as dictated by operational needs
- Significant travel required, including extended out-of-state assignments lasting several weeks or more
