Use specialized machines to apply graphics, logos, and designs onto various apparel materials focusing on precise temperature, pressure, and time settings for quality results, while also maintaining equipment and troubleshooting issues in custom apparel production.
Duties
- Operation: Running heat press machines for tasks like applying heat transfer vinyl, sublimation transfers, or other graphics.
- Production: Following production schedules, setting up orders, filling out paperwork and meeting deadlines.
- Quality Control: Ensuring designs are correctly aligned, applied, and meet quality standards through checks.
- Settings Management: Adjusting time, temperature, and pressure for different materials and transfers.
- Maintenance: Keeping the work area clean and performing basic troubleshooting on machine malfunctions.
- Material Handling: Loading garments, cutting vinyl, and preparing items for pressing.
Requirements
Skills & Tools: Detail-oriented, able to follow precise instructions. Quality Control.
Proficiency with heat press machines, vinyl cutters, and sometimes related software. Must be able to read instructions, count & fill out paperwork.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
