Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Piano Teacher to join our vibrant music education team long term. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching piano to students of various ages and skill levels, with the ability to foster a love for music in children as young as 4 years old. This role involves teaching in students' homes offering personalized instruction and lessons as you see fit.
Duties
- Develop and implement customized piano curriculum tailored to individual student needs.
- Conduct engaging piano lessons for children, teenagers, and adults, utilizing effective teaching techniques and creative games and activities.
- Travel to students' homes for lessons, being prompt and on time. Time management is necessary.
- Experience working with children as young as age 4, and those with special needs.
Requirements
- Must have a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel up to 30 minutes from home base to teach
- 2 years of teaching experience and/or 15 years of lesson and performance history
- Music Education or Piano performance Degree preferred, but not mandatory.
Teaching hours are from 3-8:45PM after school Monday-Friday, with an option to start earlier.
