Key Largo Fisheries has provided quality, sustainable bait & seafood since 1972.
The company is located in the middle of Key Largo, surrounded by the emerald green waters of the Florida Keys.
Key Largo Fisheries is a large wholesale regional distributor of bait and seafood, a nationwide ecommerce UPS shipping operation with a waterside restaurant, marina and fish market on site.
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable to join our team full time.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable entry; including matching purchase orders and item receipts
- Process payroll weekly payroll for 80 employees
- Reconcile credit card accounts
- Maintain Vendor Information
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial and other confidential data
- Other duties as directed
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, Excel and Outlook in particular
- Experience processing payroll for 100 hourly, time-recorded employees
- Ability to easily learn and understand company methods of accounting Fastidious attention to detail, organization, and accuracy of work.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Committed to consistently manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently on assigned duties
- 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience
