Key Essentials to Behavior Management is seeking a dedicated Lead RegisteredBehavior Technician to join our dynamic behavioral health team. This is an exceptional opportunity to advance your career in Applied Behavior Analysis while directly impacting client outcomes through clinical mentoring and hands-on support.What You'll DoAs our Lead Registered Behavior Technician, you'll serve as a senior clinical support specialist and mentor, working closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Program Supervisor to ensure the highest quality ABA services.Clinical Responsibilities (75% - 30 hours/week)Mentor and Coach: Provide real-time clinical mentoring and coaching to behavior interventionists during direct service deliveryDirect Client Care: Deliver high-quality behavior analysis services including skill acquisition and behavior reduction programsAssessment Support: Conduct functional behavior assessments and contribute to individualized treatment plan developmentData Collection: Observe, record, and analyze client behavior data to ensure accurate progress monitoringCrisis Support: Provide behavior management support during challenging situationsQuality Assurance: Ensure ABA programs are implemented according to best practices and ethical standardsAdministrative Responsibilities (25% - 10 hours/week)Documentation: Maintain accurate client records, progress reports, and session notesTraining Support: Lead onboarding and training initiatives for new behavior interventionistsCoordination: Assist with scheduling, staff assignments, and service delivery logisticsQuality Improvement: Participate in program evaluation and development initiativesWhat We OfferProfessional Development90-Day Structured Onboarding: Comprehensive training program with phased skill developmentCareer Advancement: Clear pathway toward BCaBA/BCBA certification and supervisory rolesMentorship: Direct coaching from experienced supervisors and BCBAsGrowth Opportunities: Advanced duties available after demonstrating core competency masteryWork EnvironmentDiverse Settings: Deliver services in clinic, home, and school environmentsCollaborative Team: Work alongside dedicated professionals committed to evidence-based practiceSupportive Structure: Clear escalation protocols and supervisor support for all decisionsImpact-Driven: See direct results of your work in client progress and team developmentWhat You BringRequired QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, or related fieldExperience: Minimum 5 years in Applied Behavior Analysis, preferably with children and adults with disabilitiesCertification: Registered Behavior Technician Certification, & Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or willingness to obtain certificationSkills: Demonstrated competence in behavior management, functional assessments, and ABA principlesEssential SkillsStrong organizational and administrative abilities with attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven mentoring and clinical guidance capabilitiesAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlinesProficiency with technology and data collection softwarePhysical ability to work in various environments and handle challenging behaviorsPreferred QualificationsPrevious mentoring or training experienceExperience with diverse populations and settingsThe field of Applied Behavior Analysis may involve direct contact with individuals that may potentially exhibit aggressive and/or extremely challenging behaviors (i.e. spitting, hitting, kicking, throwing of objects, etc.).EEO StatementKey Essentials to Behavior Management is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
