About the Role
We are a growing dental laboratory looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Dental Technology Assistant to support case intake, data entry, workflow coordination, shipping, and general lab operations. This role is ideal for someone organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and disinfect incoming cases; organize items into pans
- Assist with accurate case entry in the lab management system
- Support communication with dental offices and patients
- Organize materials, tools, and workspaces
- Prepare and ship cases; deliver outgoing shipments
- Assist with local pickups and deliveries
- Support production workflow to keep cases on schedule
- Perform general administrative and operational tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with computers (email, data entry, filing, case tracking systems)
- Ability to learn technical tasks and workflows quickly
- Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current insurance
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Preferred –Dental Knowledge (Not Required but Highly Valued)
- Familiarity with common dental terminology (crown, bridge, veneer, impression, bite, shade, etc.)
- Understanding of basic dental anatomy (tooth numbers, anterior/posterior, surfaces)
- Experience working in a dental office, dental lab, or dental assisting role
- Ability to read and interpret lab slips, prescriptions, digital scans or case notes
- Knowledge of dental materials, or impression materials
- Awareness of infection control practices and proper handling of incoming cases
- Comfortable communicating with dental offices to clarify case details
Compensation
$18.00 – $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Entry-level starts at $18/hr
- Candidates with dental or technical experience may start at $19–$20/hr
