Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream flavors and toppings with precision and speed
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and upselling products to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food handling areas, including scooping stations and seating areas
- Manage cash handling duties responsibly, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as topping assembly, cone preparation, and inventory stocking
- Support team members by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring a welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience or quick service & fast food restaurant background preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote products confidently
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math tasks
- Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a positive attitude
