The ideal candidate will need to possess strong computer and organizational skills; have a solid attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Document control for each bid will be managed by the Estimating Coordinator as well as communication with sub-contractors, maintaining the bid calendar and compiling sub bids, as required. The ideal candidate should be familiar with construction industry lingo and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Key Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to the estimating department.Create and maintain proposal folders with all updates/addenda to plans and specifications.Assist with the sub-contractor bid solicitation process.Manage and update sub-contractor contact information.Solicitation of sub-trade pricing and MBE, WMBE, DVBE participation both in person and on the phone.Assist in the preparation of project estimates, requests for proposals and budgets.Assist with project specific and general prequalificationquestionnaires.Procure bid bonds,buildersrisk, and insurance requirements asneeded.Assist with the development and implementation of marketingmaterials.Other administrative dutiesand responsibilitiesas required by theleader and/or the team.Requirements:Ability to prioritize, multitask and possessing excellent phone skills are required.Experience withWordandExcelis required, experience withSmart BidandProcoreis a plus.Key Construction is an Equal Opportunity EmployerNo Agency Inquiries PleaseKey Construction does not accept unsolicited resumes, candidates names or summaries from staffing agencies, search firms, or third-party recruiters.
