Responsibilities:
- Perform paint repairs and refinishing on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming.
- Mix and match paint colors to vehicle manufacturer specifications.
- Apply paint using various techniques, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
- Ensure the quality of paintwork, including color accuracy and finish texture.
- Perform quality control inspections to identify and address imperfections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of hazardous materials.
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and paint technology.
- Collaborate with the team to meet production and repair deadlines.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any paint-related concerns.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Collision Paint Technician in an automotive repair or collision center.
- Proficiency in mixing and applying automotive paint.
- Knowledge of various painting techniques and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Automotive painting certifications are a plus.
- Valid driver's license.
