Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Use specialized equipment for floor care such as buffing machines and vacuums to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained.
- Conduct detailed cleaning of restrooms, break areas, offices, and common spaces with attention to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning products to ensure facilities are fully equipped at all times.
- Follow established procedures for industrial cleaning and custodial maintenance to uphold health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred; familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently within the scheduled hours.
