Our dealership is seeking a skilled Used Car Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and mechanical abilities and be comfortable working on a wide range of makes and models. You will play an important role in ensuring our used inventory is thoroughly inspected, properly repaired, and ready for our customers.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive mechanical inspections on used vehicles
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
Complete necessary repairs and maintenance to prepare vehicles for sale
Perform brake, suspension, steering, tire, battery, and fluid services
Identify and communicate additional repair needs
Ensure all repairs are completed accurately and efficiently
Road test vehicles as needed to verify repairs
Document completed repairs and parts used
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow dealership safety procedures and repair standards
Qualifications
Previous automotive technician experience required
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Ability to diagnose problems accurately and efficiently
Experience working on multiple makes and models
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Valid driver's license
Own Tools Required
ASE certification is a plus, but not required
