Network Administrator

Mandatory Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in each of the following:
- Designing, implementing, and managing LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, and network topology;
- Utilizing monitoring tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, etc) to manage and diagnose network issues;
- Configuring and maintaining network firewalls both external facing and in support of network segmentation;
- Applying security patches and updates to network devices;
- Setting up VLANs and subnets;
- Creating and maintaining network diagrams, configuration documentation, and standard operating procedures.
Desirable Qualifications
- Possession of a *Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent in the fields of Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering;
- Possession of a CompTIA Network or equivalent certification;
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience implementing and supporting hybrid network configurations in support of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc);
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience complying with government security standards such as NIST.
