Responsibilities:
- Efficiently perform work specified on repair orders according to dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with Service Advisors to inform customers of additional services needed and provide time estimates for repairs.
- Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of Service Technician experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; ASE Certification necessary.
- B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
- Dexterity requiring steady hands, excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to improve.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates.
- Capacity to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record.
