We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join an established HR team supporting a complex, operationally focused work environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with approximately 3–5 years of progressive experience who is ready to expand their capabilities as a true business partner. The selected individual will work alongside other experienced HR Business Partners and report to an on-site HR Director who is committed to providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development.
This role is intentionally designed for someone who is still growing in the HRBP function. We are looking for a capable, hands-on HR professional who understands the pace and demands of an industrial workplace and is ready to take the next meaningful step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with operational leaders and supervisors on day-to-day human resources matters.
Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, attendance, workplace conduct, and policy interpretation.
Conduct or support employee investigations and recommend fair, consistent resolutions.
Build trusted relationships with employees and leaders through a visible presence within the operation.
Support workforce planning, staffing, employee engagement, retention, and organizational change initiatives.
Assist leaders with coaching, performance improvement plans, and difficult employee conversations.
Partner with recruiting and business leaders to support hiring needs and workforce priorities.
Use workforce data and operational trends to identify concerns and recommend practical solutions.
Support HR programs related to talent development, succession planning, compensation, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.
Collaborate with fellow HR Business Partners, the on-site HR Director, and other HR support functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Approximately 3–5 years of progressive human resources experience, including HR generalist (with business partnering duties beyond just transactional HR) or HR business partner responsibilities.
- Experience supporting employees and leaders within a manufacturing, industrial, aviation, aerospace, distribution, warehouse, or like environment is required.
- Working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, investigations, employment practices, and HR compliance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable working directly with operations and maintaining a consistent presence on the floor.
- Sound judgment, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage sensitive situations.
- Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and continue developing as an HR Business Partner.
