Role Description
This is a full-time Concrete Estimator role based in Sacramento, CA, with a hybrid work arrangement allowing some flexibility to work from home. The Concrete Estimator will be responsible for reviewing project specifications and drawings, preparing accurate cost estimates for materials and labor, and collaborating with project managers, clients, and suppliers. Additional responsibilities include tracking project progress, maintaining records, and ensuring project bids are completed within deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficient in cost estimation for construction projects and familiarity with concrete-related specifications and materials.
- Strong skills in mathematics, data analysis, and interpretation for creating precise estimates.
- Experience using estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite, along with knowledge of AutoCAD or similar technical tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and clients to ensure project clarity and timely completion.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Previous experience in pool construction or concrete work is preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent work experience is considered an asset.
